Based on that, the Mineral Insulated heavy duty cables can be installed in every critical environment such as high humidity degree, or wherever the installation is dangerous due to possible mechanical damages. Wide manufacturing range, similar to soft skin wiring cable range, allow heavy duty cables design whenever big power is required.
Heavy Duty MI Cables (450/750 V) can be supplied ranging from 1 to 19 cores, 400 mm2 maximum size for single core, 25 mm2 maximum size up to 4 cores.
Composition of Mineral insulated cable
Mineral insulated cable is a kind of cable which uses annealed copper as conductor, dense magnesium oxide as insulation and annealed copper pipe as sheath. If necessary, it can be squeezed with a layer of plastic outer sheath around the annealed copper sheath. For specially required occasions, a layer of low-smoke halogen free sheath can be applied.
