Silicon Dioxide Insulated Coaxial Or Triaxial Metal Sheathed Cable
Silicon Dioxide Insulated Coaxial or Triaxial Metal Sheathed Cable is with the cable conductor insulated with Silicon Dioxide power for extremely harsh environment and high security. It performs better against any other MI cable on electrical performance, high radiation resistance, long service life etc.
Due to all materials used are inorganic materials, can undoubtedly work in high temperature state, up to 1200℃. At the same time, the radiation resistance of inorganic materials is greatly higher than that of any other known organic materials, so they are widely used in nuclear power engineering.
This kind of coaxial cable, triaxial cable with different insulation materials, possess different electrical properties accordingly which can be used in different environments.

Coaxial cable sheath material generally uses 300 series of stainless steel as sheath material and conductor material for core. According to different requirements, generally the cable will be composed of stainless steel (304L), oxygen-free copper, pure nickel wire and steel cladded copper (stainless steel cladded oxygen-free copper). Different wire core materials have no effect on the electrical properties.

The conductor material of mineral insulated triaxial cable (conductor material) is generally of stainless steel (304L), oxygen-free copper, pure nickel wire and SS cladded copper (oxygen-free copper cladded with stainless steel) according to different requirements. The internal shielding material is commonly used: 316 stainless steel, copper lined stainless steel or oxygen-free copper.
Generally, the electrical performance requirements of triaxial cable are mainly between the conductor and the inner shield. Different application environments also have different requirements for capacitance and voltage resistance.
