Magnesium Oxide Insulated Slender Armored Electric Heating Cable (Sheathed heating cable, mineral insulated heating cable) is made of metal protection tube, inorganic insulation (e.g., magnesium oxide, alumina, etc.), good performance nickel and chromium alloy resistance wire or other metal or metal alloy conductors. It possesses good properties of anti-pressure, anti-vibration, flexible, energy saving, impervious, resistant to radiation, explosion-proof, safe and reliable, easy installation, high mechanical strength, long life and so on. It has been widely used in aerospace, nuclear power, petroleum, chemical, natural gas, military industry, machinery, electricity, energy and other industrial sectors for heating, heat preservation, heat tracing,Heating and heat preservation of gas and fluid, heating and tracing of container pipelines, etc.
The highest heating temperature of armoured heating cable produced is 860℃.
The cable is composed of a continuous seamless metal sheath, one or more heating wires and a tightly compacted magnesium oxide insulation layer, as shown in the figure.
Armour heating element is composed of heating cable in the middle section, cold cable at both ends, connector and terminal, as shown in the figure below, which can be easily connected to power supply.
In addition, heating cable can be made into different shapes and different power heating elements (single core, double core etc, diameter, height, power according to user requirements).
